You’ve manufactured your new vitamin supplements and now need to present them to the buying public. The very first point of call would be to ensure you have all the information legally required before designing your supplement labels.
You will have to make sure you include the following on your labels as a minimum, these are stipulated in the Food Labelling regulations:
- A name;
- A list of ingredients,
- The amount of certain ingredients used;
- A date mark;
- Any special storage conditions or conditions of use;
- The name and address of the manufacturer, packer or EC seller;
- Instructions for use;
- The place of origin of the food, if failure to give it might mislead.
As well as the above information, if your product contains minerals you’ll need to ensure your label contains the RDA information.
For further information, please look at the current legislation for supplement labels.
To order your vitamin supplement labels, simply fill in the options above and select how to supply your artwork. You can either upload a file or design them directly online using our dedicated label designer.
